Catherine, a Brooklyn native, holds a BA in Art History and is pursuing an MA in Educational Psychology. With a TESOL certification and 8 years of ESL teaching experience in China, Hong Kong, and New York, she focuses on social-emotional learning and cross-cultural communication to help students feel supported and confident.

Maxime is an ESL educator with global experience across France, the U.K., and the U.S. He holds degrees in History and Art History, along with TESOL and BPSS certifications. Passionate about culture and language, he brings an interdisciplinary and globally minded approach to his teaching.

Marie has lived in the Ivory Coast and France, experiences that shaped her passion for culture, language, and communication. With a background in Sociology and a TESOL certification, she helps students build confidence and find joy in learning English, creating a supportive and inspiring classroom environment.

Alena is a certified ESL instructor with 15 years of experience teaching English communication, TOEFL, and Duolingo prep. She holds a Master’s in Foreign Languages and Education and a New York State teaching license. Her lessons build confidence in pronunciation, grammar, and real-life speaking.

Jake is the Academic Director at NYC Global Center. He holds a Master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and has extensive experience in ESOL instruction and counseling. He manages daily school operations and supports teachers and students to create a well-organized, caring, and academically focused environment.

Jolin oversees campus operations, global outreach, and marketing at NYC Global Center, helping students and the school grow through meaningful learning and connection. With expertise in communications, marketing, and English program development, she brings a broad perspective to her role. Jolin holds a Master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University.
