Study English in New York
📌 Which Programs Qualify for the F-1 Visa?
Most of our students apply for an F-1 Student Visa, which allows international students to study full-time in the U.S. To qualify for an F-1 visa, you must enroll in an I-20-eligible program at NYC Global Center—such as our Intensive English Program, TOEFL Preparation Course, and Professional English Course.

📌 What Is the I-20 Form?
The Form I-20, officially called the Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status, is a required document to apply for an F-1 student visa.
After you are accepted into an I-20-eligible program at NYC Global Center, we will issue the I-20 form for you. This form proves that:
-
You are enrolled in a full-time course
-
You have met admission requirements
-
You have the financial means to support your stay in the U.S.
You’ll need the I-20 to:
-
Schedule your visa interview
-
Apply for the F-1 visa
-
Enter the U.S. at the airport
-
Remain in legal student status while you study

This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. (8 CFR 214.3(j))
