Pareesay holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Cornell University and is a valued member of the NYC Global Center team, serving as a Writing Specialist, Teaching Assistant, and Academic Coordinator. Before joining NYC Global Center, she worked as a Capacity Building Coordinator at a refugee resettlement agency in upstate New York, supporting immigrant communities through education and advocacy. She brings a strong background in student support and a lifelong passion for writing to create engaging, thoughtful learning experiences. With an international background and fluency in both English and Urdu, Pareesay helps students build confidence, clarity, and academic skills.
