Sajma holds a Bachelor's degree, TESOL certification, and a BPSS certificate. She's passionate about helping students build the confidence to communicate in English, With a focus on language acquisition and creating supportive, engaging classrooms.
Having lived in Turkey, China, Serbia, and her native Montenegro — along with travels through Germany, Mexico, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia — Sajma brings firsthand experience navigating new cultures and languages, something she draws on directly when connecting with students going through the same thing. She speaks a bit of Chinese and is currently learning Spanish.Ask Sajma about the time she moved to a new country and had to navigate a completely different culture and language.
Fun fact: Montenegro holds a "lying down" competition—seeing who can stay lying down the longest.
