From the Ivory Coast to France to the U.S., Marie Coulibaly’s journey has given her a deep appreciation for culture, language, and connection. She speaks English and French fluently, along with two Ivorian dialects, and hopes to learn Korean, Russian, and Mandarin, while refreshing her German. Marie holds a BA in Sociology of Health and an MA in Sociology of Aging, as well as certifications in TESOL, Academic Advising, and Management Training. She enjoys traveling, reading, music, and movies, and lately has been hooked on K-dramas and Asian soap operas. She believes that language is power and finds great joy in helping students gain confidence and transform their lives through learning English.
